Binghamton Mets to have a Party.

Over on NYFuturestars.com they had the following report. I thought I would repeat that information here on Mets4life.
The Binghamton Mets will officially end their winter hibernation with a free party for area baseball fans on Tuesday night, February 12th at Broome County’s Forum Theater in downtown Binghamton on Washington Street.

The doors will swing open at 5:30 pm with free hot dogs, popcorn and soft drinks. Fans will have a chance to try out two new additions to the B-Mets Kids’ Zone while re-connecting with front office staffers and fellow baseball aficionados. Pocket schedules will be available for the first time.

At 7 o’clock, all in attendance will settle into the main theater as we look back at the memorable 2007 season. Then, team officials will unveil the 2008 promotional schedule and update B-Mets faithful on upcoming events and preparations for the season opener on April 3rd.

As the excitement builds among Mets fans in Binghamton and New York with the opening of spring training camp, the evening will feature a special screening of the New York Mets 1986 World Championship DVD.

This event is open to all media. For additional information, please call the B-Mets offices at (607) 723-6387.
