The Fleece Factor: Mets Preview

Mr Fleece worked hard on his most recent post at his site. His last post happens to be about the Mets. Its a 2008 preview to be exact.. heres a sneak peak...

"1B: Carlos Delgado (L) - In my opinion, Delgado could be the key for the 2008 New York Mets. He struggled for a large majority of last season. He hit .258 with hit lowest OBP since he became a full-time player in the majors (it was .333). He failed to make adjustments, and looked slow at the plate. He did not reach the 30-homer mark for the first time since 1996. Is he simply aging? Or were there some injuries he could have been battling? Either way, a bounce-back 2008 at age 36 will be key in how far the Mets are able to go in 2008. He has a club-option for 2009 with the Mets, so he could play this upcoming season like a contract year. At least the Mets’ fans hope so."

Head over to Fleece Factor for a preview of the rest of the entire Mets team..
